Great for Early Wake-Up Calls & Keeping Pets on Schedule
Our dog somehow decided 5 a.m. was breakfast time… and I have no idea where he got that idea because we’ve never fed him that early. I’m really hoping this automatic feeder helps him learn that food comes on schedule — not when he decides to wake me up. Setup was super easy. You just scan the QR code, verify your email, create an account in the app, and connect it to WiFi. I tested a piece of kibble first to make sure it wasn’t too large for the dispenser, then filled it and scheduled feedings directly in the app. You can customize meal times and portions, and it even lets you record your own voice to call your pet when it’s time to eat, which is such a fun feature. It also comes apart easily for cleaning, which I really appreciate. The lid has a freshness filter to help keep the food fresh, and the app reminds you every 14 days to change it. Just note that the replacement filters do have to be purchased separately. We’re also going on vacation soon and will have someone staying at our house, so this gives me peace of mind knowing he’ll stay on schedule. It makes things much easier for our pet sitter too. I love the low-food alert notification so you’re not surprised by an empty feeder. For the price, I do feel like it could include a camera, but I chose not to spend extra for that feature and honestly I’m not sure I would use it much. This is great for dog or cat owners who want to manage portion control, stop early-morning wake-ups, travel without disrupting routines, or simplify feeding for a pet sitter. So far, after two days of use, I’m very happy with it and really hoping it helps reset our pup’s schedule.
